We are helping to preserve our environment by adopting the following:
Water safety
- We dispose of all removed waste amalgam properly and safely
- We do not use any mercury in our restorations
Waste reduction
- We purchase in bulk to reduce packaging and transportation costs
- We set printers for double-sided and greyscale printing
- We continue to implement digital technology for imaging, dental records and marketing
Energy Conservation
- We are installing LED lights in administrative and staff areas
- We switch off electrical equipment and air conditioning at night (at power)
Reuse/Recycle
- We re-use lab and postal boxes
- We recycle old instruments, which turns dental instruments into industrial metal
- We use recycled copy paper
- We use a shredding service that recycles
- We organise recycling of electrical equipment and batteries
- We recycle general waste where possible
